Chicken Caprese Debuts at Olive Garden

Olive Garden introduces Chicken Caprese, the newest entrée inspired by its Culinary Institute of Tuscany, on the menu from April 10 through May 28. Chicken Caprese is a variation on the classic, seasonal tomato caprese appetizer made with tomatoes, mozzarella, basil and olive oil.
Olive Garden’s innovative dish is a flavorful combination of pan-seared chicken breasts sautéed with sweet basil and fresh Roma tomatoes in a basil-garlic butter sauce, then topped with melted mozzarella cheese and served over al dente angel hair pasta. A medium-bodied, crisp Italian white wine, such as Bottega Vinaia Pinot Grigio, is an exceptional complement to this dish.
