Bringing Smiles to Hurricane Dean Victims

The year 2007 saw big changes for the desperate residents of San Isidro, Mexico, due to the collective efforts of Beach Therapy Vacations & a hard working missionary couple. Hurricane Dean relentlessly pummeled San Isidro this past August and for a while all hope seemed lost. This small village of 500, 300 of which are children, plummeted into depression and despair. Many had completely lost their homes and had nowhere to turn for help. However, due to the many donations of toys, clothes, schoolbooks, mattresses, food & other necessities, things are looking up for the remote village. To date donations received from Beach Therapy Vacations have helped to rebuild one family’s home and they are hoping for extra donations to rebuild more.
